Two Irish-themed Slots

A new game release from Pragmatic Play is always a good thing. You can look forward to bright colors, lots of action, and some prize potential too.

They’ve come up with two new Irish-themed slots of late, so we are going to check those out there. The first is Emerald King, while there are some Wild Wild Riches involved with the other one. Let’s see what’s involved.

Emerald King

You’ll see the king himself as the game loads. It reveals a 5 x 3 formatted slot game set in the mountains with castle turrets either side of the reels. Pots of gold might appear during play and you’ll want them too, since these are wild symbols. They can show up on any reel and substitute everything else.

The highlight in this game is the Mini Slots Feature. You must turn the background to each reel green to unlock this feature. Get ready to see – and play – up to 15 miniature slot machines! It makes every potential spin more interesting.

There are other features in the Emerald King game too. Look out for giant symbols and the chance to earn an increasing multiplier on certain spins.

Wild Wild Riches

The subtitle for this game is Luck of the Irish, so if you were in doubt about the theme, you won’t be now!

So, does this beat the first game we reviewed? You’ll spot a different reel mechanic in action here – five reels with a 3-3-4-4-4 format on offer. This format gives you 576 ways to find prizes per spin. There are also three jackpots on offer, seen to the side of the first reel.

The game gives you the option of increasing your bet slightly to double your chance of triggering game features too. You don’t need to double your bet though, so it might be worth thinking about. Try it by toggling between the on and off buttons to see how it affects your bet before you start.

The wild appears in rainbow colors, so that is easy enough to spot. You’ve also got a bonus green top hat to look for on the third reel of the game. There is also a Money Collect feature triggering by a mix of wilds and money symbols. The latter can only appear on the final three reels of the game.

Two wilds on the first two reels followed by a bonus on the third reel unlock 10 free games. Extra wild and money collect icons appear during these spins. You also get the chance to trigger more free games in unlimited quantities.

Which of these two games is going to be your favorite?

Both are great, but for us it has to be the Wild Wild Riches slot game. Be aware that both titles are volatile, but if you like that and you want lots of features, either of these are great to try.
