Wings of Victory Slots

Wait - did you see that plane zooming across the sky? When you load this slot game, you'll soon wonder if you were seeing things as a flash moves across your screen. And you did - a plane flies from left to right behind the reels of the game. Wings of Victory has more to share too though, so let's review it here to find out what's in store. Strap in - here we go!

Who is the game developer?

The developer is Nucleus Gaming. They've done some fine slots already, so they could soon soar to new heights with this one as well.

Can you experiment first with a test flight?

Yes, the slot does have a practice version you can easily load and try using the demo credits.

You'll soar towards an answer for this theme, we're sure

We mentioned the plane you'll keep seeing behind the reels, and there are lots of other references to flying as well, so that's the theme behind this game.

How about the design?

You'll find yourself on the deck of a carrier, where two people watch the progress of the planes in the sky. The reels themselves have a green background, with the lower-valued symbols landing as dog tags - a nice touch. There is a pilot, some sunglasses, and various other relevant icons as well.

Find out the basics of game here

This is a five-reel game, but it has four symbols on each of those reels instead of three. You won't see any progressive jackpots here though. One thing you might see is a wild jet plane. This replaces all other symbols apart from the scatter, as usual. What's unusual, though, is that it is a sticky wild under certain conditions. We'll explain more about those later. We can tell you that the wild can land on reels two, three, and four.

Next up, watch out for three rockets in the same symbol. This is the scatter, paying prizes for three or more appearing in a single spin. As you might guess, it has another role too…

Paylines in flight in Wings of Victory

They're fixed, so you cannot immediately see how many there are. However, we discovered 100 of them, displayed in the paytable, so you've got plenty to contend with.

Place your bets

You can play from just a quarter per spin, which is cool considering there are 100 lines to play on. The most you can bet on a spin is $100.

The info button takes you into the paytable

This is where you can find all the symbols in action in the game, along with information about their values. Make sure you choose your wager before viewing the paytable, as it shows the available prizes for your selected bet amount.

What about that bonus wild feature?

If you find a wild jet plane as part of a winning combination, the wild becomes sticky for the following two spins.

Take to the skies for some free spins in Wings of Victory

Finding three, four, or five scattered rocket icons will deliver 10, 15, or 20 free games, respectively. You can watch out for the sticky wild feature in these games as well, but this time there is a twist. Whenever one appears in a prize, it takes on the sticky role and remains that way until your free spins finish.

Do we know the RTP details?

Unfortunately, we do not, as there was nothing included with the game or on the Nucleus Gaming website.

Our rating for Wings of Victory

This is a solid game with a couple of adjustments that take it out of the ordinary. If you love fighter pilots, planes, and a touch of a certain famous movie based on this topic, we think you'll enjoy this one as well. We're giving it 8.5 out of 10.

What is the biggest available prize like?

The loading screen reveals that you can get up to 922x your bet.

Don't miss the demo

You can even get into the free spin round to test it out using the buy feature inside the demo. We wouldn't do it in the real game, but it's great to use as a testing ground for sure.

Once you've tested it, you'll know whether to play the real Wings of Victory version

Will you zoom toward any prizes? Only time will reveal the answer, but at least you'll know how the game works by this point.
