We have seen many new payment methods over the years; some specific to countries; and some that all online players worldwide can utilize to fund their casinos accounts. Here we are giving our players a review of Swish, a strictly Swedish payment method that is becoming quite popular in that country. Swish was originally launched in December 12 in 2012 Swish as a payment service for payments between private users. It had 6.5 million users as of September 2018. Swish has since grown to over 17 million users to date. Swish is a member of the European Mobile Payment Systems Association.
How Does Swish Work?
You register for Swish where you usually manage your online banking services. You link your mobile number to your bank account and then you will be able to receive money through Swish. In order to also send money you need to download the Swish app on your phone and activate it with Mobile BankID on the same device.
How do I Pay with Swish?
Either you enter the recipient and amount yourself, or you swipe down on the camera icon to pay with QR code. Tap “Pay”, double check that the recipient’s name is correct and approve the payment with Mobile BankID.
What Devices are Compatible for Using Swish?
If you don’t have a smartphone or a tablet you’re only able to receive Swish payments. If you want to send payments, you need to download the Swish and Mobile BankID apps which require a smartphone or a tablet. You also need to make sure that you have both of the apps on the same device. The latest version of Swish for iOS (4.2.1) requires version 10.0 or later.
